Perfect-Fit Protocol

The Perfect-Fit Protocol

Five minutes. One process.

Every pair, perfectly fitted for life.

If you have spent years navigating the frustration of shoes that never quite feel right — experiencing the disappointment left by brands that prioritize factory averages over your unique anatomy — know that we understand. You are not a standard size. You are an individual. The Perfect-Fit Protocol is our commitment to honoring that individuality, ensuring that your walk is never again compromised by the industry’s assumptions.

By utilizing our proprietary Alpha-Sizing Matrix (XS–XXL) and recognizing that 60% of people possess asymmetrical feet, we ensure your fit is not guessed — it is known.

01

Define Your Anchor Size

Before we can select a style, we must establish your Anchor Size. This determines the length and the fundamental anatomical structure of the last we will use to build your pair. For this process we are not using regular shoe sizes, as they are not uniform and precise.

The process

  1. Print the document at 100% scale
  2. Check the scale bar with a ruler — must be exactly 10 cm
  3. Place your foot on the template

Your goal: Determine whether your fundamental structure is XS / S / M / L / XL / XXL

Master’s tip

“In my years at the bench, I have learned that one’s sneaker size is often a polite fiction created by mass-market labels. Do not let past labels dictate your future comfort. Our lasts are unique anatomical forms — trust what the template tells you about your feet today.”

02

Map Your Width Profile

Once we have secured your Anchor Size, we must map your width. Every AG size is available in nine carefully developed fitting options, allowing us to provide a level of precision that standard sizing simply cannot match.

  4. Align vertical line with first metatarsal
  5. Mark width — N, M or W
  6. Repeat for both feet

The Master Method — Absolute Precision

This is our most advanced system, developed through decades of refinement in the atelier. For those who seek the highest level of certainty, or possess complex non-standard proportions, we recommend this ultimate calibration.

Eliminates uncertainty
Designed for complex feet

Method 2 — Master method

▶ Watch Master Method Video before starting

  1. Print your template at 100% scale
  2. Confirm the scale bar measures exactly 10 cm
  3. Cut out the measurement tape included in the template
  4. Align your heel with the horizontal line
  5. Ensure the vertical line runs through your second toe
  6. Lift your forefoot slightly and wrap the tape around the widest part
  7. Place your foot back down and mark where the tape overlaps — N / M / W
  8. Repeat the process for the other foot

Master’s tip

“Precision is a quiet virtue, but it pays dividends in every step you take. Take your time with the tape — the care you invest here translates directly into the enduring joy of a perfect fit. If your feet fall outside standard proportions, this is the path I would choose for you myself.”

05

Choose your style

With your Anchor Size and Width profile established, you are ready to commission your pair. Choose the level of individualization that suits your needs.

Every pair is protected by the AG Comfort Guarantee — Assessment, Adjustment, Rework — until the fit is right. If we cannot achieve perfection, we provide a full refund. No exceptions.
